Dariia Symonenko is a photographic artist working between London and Paris. Her practice, rooted in documentary, focuses on the themes of female identity and body politics. Dariia’s approach to building narratives has been shaped by her background in journalism and marketing. While experimenting between genres, she is particularly interested in collaborative staged portraiture and text–image interaction. Personal experiences and media stories often serve as starting points for her work.

Dariia completed the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography course at the University of the Arts London in November 2025. Her works were exhibited in the United Kingdom and France.
