Dariia Symonenko is a photographic artist working between London and Paris. Her practice, rooted in documentary, focuses on the themes of female identity, body politics, and hypervisibility in a digital age. Dariia’s approach to building narratives has been shaped by her background in journalism and marketing. While experimenting between genres, she is particularly interested in collaborative staged portraiture and text–image interaction. Personal experiences and media stories often serve as starting points for her work.

Dariia is a recent graduate of MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography program at the University of the Arts in London. Her works were exhibited in the United Kingdom and France.
