The case of Gisèle Pelicot drew attention from both French and international media: the retired French woman who was drugged by her husband and raped by more than 70 men over ten years, waived her anonymity and agreed to make the trial public.

The project Without Her Knowing took the form of a photography zine with a first-person text narrative to navigate the facts of the Pelicots' relationship. The story delves into the geographical and historical landscape of Provence, reflecting on the cultural underpinnings of the neglect of a female body's agency in Western society.
